Hi.
There is NO SUCH THING as a locost fitment Damper. It all depends on what size rims and tyres you decide to use, sump clearance. And obviously ride
height.
The average Ron locost using 185/60/13 tyres will usually run with 12 1/2" open length front and 13" open length rear with 4" ride
height under the front chassis rail and 4 3/4" ride height at the rear just in front of the rear wheels. However a 1/2" change in ride
height will dictate a different length Damper.
The way to do it correctly is use dummy dampers to build ( steel box section with holes in either end ) the car until every major component is fitted
on to the car and you know exactly what ride heights you want to run. Then you will know exactly what length dampers you need by measuring the bolt
centers to have the correct travel in compression and rebound. You get the correct parts first time which is cheaper and less hassle in the long
run.
Cheers Matt
