wtd. 16" tyres.
16" tyres wanted for my Audi.
Ideally four in 205/55/16 or 205/60/16. Winter or all season tyres would be nice! It looks like it will be cheaper to buy another set of wheels off
eBay just to get the tyres!
Folks are wanting £45 for a winter tyre with 4mm of tread so before I buy new, I thought I'd ask in here. I'd rather line the pockets of a
fellow Locoster than some bloke trying to get shot of his bald tyres!
TIA, Owelly.

I've got some 195 x 50 x 16 which came off a Lotus Exige / Elise
2 are a matched pair, the others are all odd - I think there is 7 in total.

By strange coincidence I have a pair of Falken HS439 205/55 x 16 from our replaced Focus. They only did about 2 months on the car, then the wife was
off work after an operation so the car wasnt used. Loads of tread on them...
They are about £75 each, collect the pair for £75, or parcelmonkey them.

Ironically I have been trying to sell exactly this size brand new on this site and gave up this week and put them on ebay!
Timing everything is.
You'd be surprised how quickly the sales people at B&Q try and assist you after ignoring you for the past 15 minutes when you try and start a

Check your local tyre places, the independent ones. I just got a pair of 205 55 16 Toyo t1r's for £60 each all in fitted and balanced! You can
get that sort of deal from some national suppliers too so not worth buying a second hand tyre for £45 and then paying to have it fitted!

Wow! that's a real deal - are you sure they are winter tyres?
At that price it would be worth my while posting my wheels down to them

I must learn to take in more of what I read! They aren’t winter tyres, just normal all round use. It hardly ever gets that cold down here so I rarely
think about winter tyres!

So I'm leanijng towards V8 Kids snow tyres and I'll source another pair to match them. Any chance of an Ebay link?
Fitting isn't a problem as I have my own fitting and balancing machines
