WTD C20XE short alloy sump
Need a new sump, my SBD sump has been cracked and rewelded but was never leak free.
Gaskets leaking now so its time to take off and replace.
Anyone got one they want to sell me? Before i go get my pockets emptied by QED/SBD

The Yukspeed one is shallow mate (110mm iirc) but its winged and might not suit your application ?
Would be cheaper than some of the other alternatives though ?
Another place to look would be on Uphillracers.com as some of the Hill climb lads use XE's and there's usually a few bits for sale on
there.

Winged wouldnt matter mate, i'd hear the yukspeed steel one was a bit of a mess tho. Think the QED alloy one is £155+vat

Fair play the QED one is cheaper than i thought it would be.
If you go for the QED one make sure you double check the clearance between the oil pick-up pipe head and the bottom of the sump.
One of the Westfield lads had oil pressure issues and it ended up being the oil pick-up pipe head rubbing on the bottom of the QED sump. (this was
with the modified pick-up pipe fitted)

I have the feeling mine is rubbing too, maybe the yukspeed one is worth a punt if the modified pickup pipe doesnt rub

Read some horror stories about the yukspeed one being bowed and poorly made, so if no one has one i'll go for QED

I would mate, the QED version is very well made. Are you considering track days by the way?
I have the QED one on and you do get oil surge with it...just a thought.

Probably not too many. Might be worth fitting an accusump in the future if they still get oil surge.
Although the caterham version has foam inside so that might be why?
