My mums

1.8 x reg Mondeo.

Very very scruffy and rusty. I put a low millage engine in it two years ago along with a full service and a cam belt and it had another service for its mot.

For its mot on top of the full service it had two new front tyres a new cat some bits on the rear suspension. The mot station really had there trousers down to the tune of £600

Two weeks latter the boot stuck shut and she couldn't get her wheel chair out whilst shopping so they had my old banger. Its now got about 10 months left. Boot is electric and all the central locking motors are iffy.

Prety, NO

Reliable, yes I would use it for my holiday next week as I don't mind leaving it in a car park. I really would take it if it wasn't for the fact you you cant leave the tax on an uninsured car any more and I am not taxing it for a week.

Scrap value is around £150 if I take it in. And while it has a long mot its always good as a family spare but last week the travellers spotted it.

so £175 located Boston Lincs

Not sure the mondeo really fits the bill I'm afraid - needs to be small

I'll pass on the Ka details though - looks like a bonny thing

Mookie,
I think you need to meet up with some Locosters for a curry (Richmond looks good) !

You may learn of some cheap cars, but you may not ?
At the least, you will have a good night out????

Regards, not knowing of any cheap bangers, just now . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Regards
Jon

(in need of a GOOD curry . . . . . . . . . . ) !
