Crossflow carb + dizzy

Hi all, This is on behalf of a colleague who is restoring a 68 Marcos 1600 GT.

He is looking for a new carb (Weber 32/36 DFM) and a new distributor. The existing dizzy is a Lucas item marked 41146 A and the vac unit has 25D marked on it if that's any help. A full rebuild kit for the carb would also be of interest

He's not looking for the absolute cheapest solution but a supplier who is reliable to deal with...

Who should he go to?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

For carb parts it might be worth asking Burlen. They are SU specialists and really know their stuff, but they also list Weber on their web site. The main Weber specialists are Webcon, though I have never dealt with them.

For distributors, I have never seen a bad word said about H&H Ignition Solutions. They will build an electronic distributor to get rid of the points if required, but they supply standard distributors as well.
