Omex 500

Hello,

I purchased a Omex 500. It is an old fashioned ecu but I bought it cheap so we will see if it was worth the money....

I had it checked by Omex and it was 100% oke so that was the first step.

Now I want to have a base map for FI. with GSXR750 Throttle bodies, does anyone have one for me.
Omex does not have it anymore.....

What are the experiences with this ECU, does anyone have these setup working in his car ?

Thanx.

Hi
I use an Omex 500 to run my toyota 4age 16V with throttle bodies. I'm not an expert with them though have just recently been experimenting with it.

Newer ECUs have better ways of managing idle control, but the 500 does a reasonable job for me.

What engine are you planning to use it with?

I guess you could try contacting a few tuners that deal with Omex units - they may be able to provide you with a base map.

Hi,

thanks for your answer,

I want it for my Alfa Romeo Twinspark 8v engine.

I have contacted a few Omex tuners , At Speed racing, AHM motorsports, no response......
Alfaholics has no maps for Omex 500 anymore
