it would appear their search functionality doesnt allow this link
Odd, you are not buying the vehicle but a 7 hour time slot to remove all that you want.
so the sierra is £100 + vat +£30 for them to remove the engine and gearbox

Odd, but what a great idea
You pay your £200-ish and you have a 7 hour timeslot to strip it of anything you want (bar the engine which you pay £30 for them to remove) no power
tools/grinders though.
Strange to see in this age of H&S
Odd in the fact that the only people who would use this are those that do want nearly everything else it would not be cost effective just to get a few items.

mr henderson - 10/2/09 at 05:31 PMPresumably most of these cars are Cat B (not allowed to be repaired) and the 7 hour thing is a way of getting people to grab what they want and then pi$$ off rather than coming back day after day.
Seems like a good idea

iank - 10/2/09 at 05:48 PMNot bad for moderns, but a 20 year old Sierra is going to need some serious hand tools to remove the rusted on bolts etc. Diff will be a pig to remove without a jack.
Bet they won't let you use heat either.
