Well I think they are:

Haven't seen one for sale for a while and it doesn't seem that along ago when 20k would get you one out of the classifieds in Motoring News. Why did I buy a house?

mmmmm, same county as me.

ne assetmanagement - i wonder who has gone bust.

I went to the Croft specsaver rally in December, ther was an immaculate factory original 6R4 on display. It looked amazing. Still had the BL badged seats fitted. Certainly didnt look like it had ever been rallied - far too immaculate for that. Thankfully i had a tissue on standby

I was not much more than a boy when I worked with these. Far too young and green to appreciate them.

You could buy them new for £16,500 including car tax and VAT.

Strangely enough they were officially a kit car to get round type approval.

ETA £16,500 was in 86 after the GpB ban in internationals. Before that they were over £44,000 in 85

ETAA The one you saw at Croft Darren was probably in Computervision (blue/white) livery? There were 5 or 6 new 'club' cars painted up for display purposes like this.

Certainly a piece of history. My brother-in-law has a passion for them big style.

Personally I'd rather have one of these...

My youngest sister designed & built the ignition black boxes for those.

The COW never once saw fit to invite me to a test session.

Has he got the Hayne's manual for it as well and will he throw it in with the price ?

...cos that'll help with repairs and maintenance eh!

they always seem to be a couple available on 6R4.com been looking at a kit for one but unless you can actually fit and use a rear engine 4 wheel drive set up is it worth making a replica.

I just love the sound of them though.......
