I've posted this a couple of times in reply to other people recently, but unless you read to the end of the thread you'll probably have
missed it
If you go to the UK Vauxhall site and click on "Servicing and Finance" then "Value your car"
you can get a free Glass' valuation[1].
It doesn't cover my end of the market (my latest car cost me £400
but I'm sure it'll be of use to someone on here.
[1] I dunno whether it's a "proper" valuation, it only lists "part-ex" price, but it seems "there or thereabouts".
How the hell can I value my cars when the list doesn't include Porsche, Astom Martin and Ferraris?
or 15 year old Volvos

Guy's i would take Glass guide valuations with a pinch of salt!!
I subscribe to the above and recieve a shiney new book every month and to be honest its about as much use as a ashtray in an 7 rep!!!.
I have been dealing cars for sometime and found over the last 6 months the trade value listed is about what your car is worth on the open
market, believe me the best guide at the moment is Auto trader as actual adverts.
I have had a few car recently that havent made trade money and the auctions are selling at trade money, god knows where some of these people sell them
asthey cannot be making any money.
Doesnt do my tintop either
not that i want to sell it
Ticked all the boxes but it asked for a payment before the price would be released!

It values my 06 WRX SL at about £9300
I have just got £11000 trade in from a garage in Aberdeen.
Something is way off with the valuations!
