FS: My Fulvia
SALAD - 5/4/09 at 10:09 PM

A bit late in the game, but just to let you know, my Lancia Fulvia is for sale and ends on 'the bay' this Tuesday.
Going to let the auction run so this is just a FYI......all proceeds go towards the 7 so it's a worthy cause....

I've always thought they were a very good looking car

but they are a bit wierd mechanically - probably don't lend themselves to puttung a decent engine in

I love them! Is there no way you could squeeze a turbocharged 4 pot in there. Or would it be blasphamy getting rid of the V4? If only ever seem them stationary, does the the V4 sound good?

I went halves on one of those with a friend back in about 1984.

We paid £7.50 each

Never got it to run and eventually it got scrapped (parents split, house sold etc).

I had one of those ''to restore' ages ago. Ended up cutting it in half & scrapping it when I found the subframe mounts were made from a heinz baked bean tin! Got the purchase price back selling the engine though :-)
