If anyone was planning on buying tools from Halfords, now might be a good time.

Can you use trade discount on top of that?

That'll be the price they should have been anyway.
Called in the other day, £4.99 for 2 brazing rods they must be having a laugh.
Cheers,
Bob

I bought the ratchet spanner set a few years back, brilliant tools, well made and I couldn't live without 'em now.

Only thing is, the lifetime guarantee doesn't cover moving parts like the ratchet mechanism, so basically ratchet spanners are exempt from the lifetime warranty

I would have entertained the ratchet spanners if i hadnt have already bought a 5pc double ended set for a simular price. (britool, so the same tool, basicaly)

Theres sockets are good kit and i have there 1/4inch set and i would be interested in a 3/8th set but i dont need a 'tool set' with 6 of everything else around it! Not fo nearly £100 anyway!

having worked there a while ago for 6+ years im guessing the "upto" statement is quite selective as they dont really discount good lines 150pc kit is worth it if its under £100 which it often as the £200rrp is a rip off which keeps going up over the years
