Nice piece of kit and a bit of history 2 boot

Seen two in the flesh and I can see why catervan got upset......so close to the original its scary.
The one was a bare chassis that procomp had sorted very nicely done I might say.

eeek no role bar!

When I ever see a 'seven' from a distance, I always look for the top suspension setup.
The car in the picture has a top wishbone - a Caterham doesn't, it uses the roll bar as part of the setup.

Transmission tunnel is another dead giveaway. Flat top tunnel means it's not a Caterham.

P.S. Hillclimb last week, well sorted Caterhams with K series engines showed the Westfields the way home.
Sylvas and Fishers were of course very well represented too

They do have a top wishbone with the anti roll bar running very close to it. The end of the bar engages in a bush arrangement on the wishbone.

Yep - you've got me there.

Wasn't always like that - the full top wishbone is a development of the original setup.

Point taken though.
