Oh no - Zil's seen more pi15h on ebay
zilspeed - 9/8/09 at 04:32 PM

What do we think ?

Vote accordingly.

Mr Millar, I know your opinion on these things, so you can reprimand me in person when next we meet.

Ginetta 'Project' on ebay.....

big_wasa - 9/8/09 at 04:37 PM

Cant be any worse than the shed of a sierra and an extra zetec ive bought over the last week

minitici - 9/8/09 at 04:39 PM

Hi Zil - I've fixed worse

Humbug - 9/8/09 at 05:04 PM

Gaffer tape and sikaflex... job's a good'un

Richard Quinn - 9/8/09 at 05:07 PM

Voting doesn't reflect the comments! I know that they say that "if you can't fix it with gaffer tape, you haven't used enough gaffer tape" but seriously, just how much gaffer tape is there??

Flamez - 9/8/09 at 05:11 PM

buy a guitar instead..

scootz - 9/8/09 at 05:11 PM

Thank God... I now know it's not just me that's prone to making spontaneous 'I know it's a pile of sh*te, but I reckon I could finish that' purchases!

Staple balls - 9/8/09 at 05:12 PM

I voted you're nuts, because clearly you are, but if I had the space, I'd have that

big_wasa - 9/8/09 at 05:25 PM

Guitars ?

Oh, I'm not short of them.....

Strat x 2
Tele x 1
Jazz Bass 5 string Active x 1

All three colour sunburst.
I'm a traditionalist.

dinosaurjuice - 9/8/09 at 06:00 PM

go for it. its going to be fairly cheap, and will make a good car with an interseting story.

will

RichardK - 9/8/09 at 06:26 PM

That has just got me wondering, is therapy available on the NHS?

Rich

Guinness - 9/8/09 at 06:27 PM

Christ, for £350 I'd buy the chassis alone.

It's a lot cheaper than fitting a full cage to my Indy.

If I could weld bones and 'glass like Triton, I'd have it straight away.

Mike

Haha, I know the feeling, you buy one and love it, then you see another one so have to buy that, its a downhill cycle from there! Looks like you're missing out on a gibbo though, nice vintage cherry sg or honeyburst/gold top les paul - nice(as Jazzguy from fast show)!

Can't really get on with Gibsons, much to my regret.
Had a Honeyburst Epi Les Paul which was quite the loveliest thing you ever saw, but the height of the bridge from the body I find quite odd.
SGs are way too rock 'n' roll for my liking.

Had a 335 a like in the past which was more my type of thing, but now I just go for the neck pickup on the ol' strat and roll the tone back a bit.
If it works for Gilmour....

blakep82 - 9/8/09 at 11:43 PM

i thought my body work was bad when i collected it. jesus christ

Peteff - 12/8/09 at 09:22 AM

Where would the world be without optimists ? Go for it Zil. I have half a tub of filler left from a Fiesta van if it would help.

It is a bit, isn't it...

I'll tell him to stop right now.

You're mad as a hatter, but I'd have bought it if I lived on your side of the ocean -- and had to deal with the wifely repercussions...

Thanks for sparing me the anguish
