The link works, bloody hell. It does show a 150 amp in the picture but it is for a 195 amp welder
It's a bit of shame they don't go under 60 amps though.
My elderly Clarke goes down to 25amps if I remember correctly, this helped me be able to make my exhaust manifold without vapourising the 1mm
stainless tube.
Surely a tig welder is better for stainless?
very cheap but i bet they are nasty!
personally i think its a case of you pay for what you get with welders

The mig is brilliant, good welds, nice wire feed etc, that tig is by the same seller. I can't recommend them enough. Been welding nearly all day with mine, no problem at all, don't know why they are cheap, don't really care to be honest, superb piece of kit as good as anything I have used in the last 27 years.

Does the wire slow down when the going gets tough? Is the driver dual or have then screw down thingys with a spring under them?

Single driver with the springy thing but no slowing down under heavy load, having said that only welded upto 3mm so far, what more do I need?
Just thinking 4~5mm max for chassis fabbing..
i use a mig 90 and i have used it for evrything i just v-groove anything over 2.5 mm . done 6mm with it just to show my mate it can be done

This looks just identical to the "Berlan" zil donated to me which was bust having never been used. The transformer on the control board was
fried. They are Chinese made to a budget but it seems fine for hobby use. To be honest it's very simple inside some big iron and the little
control board with relay for switching current and PWM for the feed motor. Gas connection is a large barb no good for little bottles without
modification.
