Autograss Mini pickup shell
hillbillyracer - 15/10/09 at 09:01 PM

Not Locost but there are a few grassers on here & it's making way along with some other stuff to come up later so I'll have time & space for my new Locostish project.
It's in a somewhat used state & you'd really have to want a Mini pickup above all else for it to be of interest!

Yes, it's clearly seen some some life, I expect it's been a grasser a long time, mabye Mini pickups were nothing special when it was first raced.

Yes I'll tax it for the buyer, just so long as they take it, MOT it & insure it!

Quality.

Would be a great little project with an R1 or busa engine in the back.

Which would make it a class 7. Find your local club, buy it and give it a go!

Big bike engines in the back of super-light shells like this have become very popular in class 7 & can beat the twin engined stuff despite the lack of capacity.

The battered bodywork is of less importance than you may think, they get spaceframed & what's left of the shell is just along for the ride!
