as they're LHD and have the "correct paperwork and duty paid" i think it are imports that haven't gone thru the registration process yet, but they should end up with V5's of their age

As above - if there is proof of manufacturing date then they should get "old" registrations and the pre-73 ones should be eligible for zero road tax.

EDIT: presumably "unregistered" means not yet registered in the UK... they certainly look as though they have been registered somewhere, with those number plate carriers.

...wonder where they are from?
