IIRC CossEH alloys were 15", the 14" ones were from Fiestas and Escorts (RS Turbos perhaps)

big_wasa - 23/11/09 at 03:05 PM

14" was only the 90 spec xr3i and they where optional fit at that.

The offset will almost certainly be different as well being for FWD Ford rather then RWD

I dont know about the cossie but standard sierra is the same as the front wheel drive around 35~38

I saw your post yesterday and though I hope they are cosworth ones as you hav'nt said what size they are! (second most important bit of information when selling wheels after what PCD they are and fit)

As posted above the 14" items where on the 3i's

C
Sapphire cosworth 'cross spokes' only come in the 15" flavour

Just had a closer look at the wheels
and they have 6jx 14 x 35.5 and ford embossed on them
i now the 6j and 14 but what is the 35.5
how do you find pcd is it center to center across wheel

The ebay title describes them as xr3i, sierra cosworth style alloys....

If you google "Sierra Cosworth" and look at images, there are a couple of cars with those wheels on.

You might get a more definitive answer on one of the many Ford forums around.

The 35.5 is the offset which refers to how far offset the mounting face is from the centreline of the wheel. Important for keeping the wheel/tyre in the right place track wise and rubbing on suspension or bodywork and over stressing the wheel bearing.

They're definitely Ford rims so the PCD will be 4 x 108mm - i.e. if you draw a square with the bolt hole centres at each corner each side of the square will measure 108mm.

(Hope I'm not teaching egg sucking here )

stock cossie wheels are 15x7 with a 40 off set. All ford wheels are 4x108 PCD.

the worst wheel in the world to clean! lol. takes me the best part of a day to clean mine when getting the cosworth ready for shows.
