Yes I have dealt with them and recommended the to other over almost 20 years --- never a single problem in all that time.

Yes it is cheap.... But it is a very poor spec laptop....

At under £200 (Ex VAT) how can that spec be poor?? Apart from the humble Celeron processor I think that is on par with most others on offer. The software alone would be a large chunk if bought separately.

I didnt mean it was poor spec for the price... i meant it is poor spec compared what what is out there generaly

256Mb ram.. i mean come on why supply a computer with such a low amount. if jo public can buy 1Gb of ram for £12 how much could a manufacturer buy it for in bulk.. it would add very little to the cost for them selling the laptop, and look much more impressing on the spec list

It only has a CDRW / DVD combo.. the price difference for a DVDRW is very little

I'd agree if it was sat in PCWorld et.al., but it was probably manufactured a couple of years ago and has sat in a warehouse becoming gradually more obsolete (in the sense of running vista). Morgan then buy them up for pennies and ship them out to people who don't need or want the latest and greatest.
Would be fine for a desktop user who wanted to map a megajolt, and do a bit of light websurfing, letter writing, dvd watching away from home.

The spec is OK if you only want to look at your mail or use Word but even browsing the web will get sticky with 256mb of RAM. Watching any streaming media or flash graphics is going to be S L O W.

Much wiser to spend a tiny bit more and get a much more useful laptop. Including delivery the Morgan laptop comes to £246.74 for £43.25 more you can buy THIS HP laptop from Ebuyer with M540 1.86GHz CPU, 1gb RAM, wireless network, Bluetooth, DVD R/W, 15.4" wide screen panel, 80gb HD, SD Card reader and Vista Basic for £289.99 delivered!! Complete no brainer if you ask me.
