same here, haven't bought a CD in about 4 years, hung on a branch with string they're good for scaring away cats in the garden
^^^ at the moment I am buying a couple or moew CDs per week; rckon that people at getting rid as hey transfer to MP3.
Originally was going to transfer all my priceless vinyl correction, for those that rememebr vinyl
, onto CD but can't be arsed so buying them
instead...
I bet I could get the music on your priceless vinyl collection in less than a day off the web for free, if all the music I have was on CD's I recon it would fill a room.
Personaly I don't like listening to MP3's quality is not up to much... Give me vinyl/thoughline tuner or CD amd a Class A amp or the leak
TL12+ and Quad ES.. much nicer.. I do listen to MP3's at work, only because it's convenient..
PS if any one has a leak TL12+ collecting dust let me know..

your kidding right?
it's got valves
Flash Gordon would have been proud
I think I'll stick with my I-pod
Valves are nice components in some ways, keeps the house warm
. EL84's sweet little valves... The class A amp is a home brew transistor one
based on a JLH.. Even less efficient than the valve amp!

It depends how much you value your sound. Vinyl sounds better on a good system, and if you don't mind a lot of fiddling, valves are great. MP3's through a good system sound like absolute crap. Through a mediocre system, they sound pretty good: ie. iPods etc.
