450 bhp VAG 1.8t engine and lots of rather nice goodies for it

Apologies for the ebay link (I listed it there a week ago and would be giving the same info here).

£5k worth of ground up rebuilt and enhanced AEB engine, with some rather expensive goodies to accompany it.

Would offer interesting power to weight...I'm open to offers, happy to answer questions and for people to come check it out (Bristol). 07759 436010

It has been built to provide the power reliably and there is nothing to stop someone fitting a multi platform ECU or boost control limiting it...or even a bigger turbo for more power. It is recommended that a mains girdle is used for 500+ bhp but there are plenty that don't and there are less reports of failure than with something like a heavily tuned YB engine, not to mention being less expensive to buy and maintain IMO. (original engine choice was a YB but after looking into initial and further cost, availability and the age and scope for related issues I changed my mind)

I was running a mild 300bhp 1.8T in a Viento and that was mental.
Putting 450bhp is a sevens would snap your neck in two :-)
Well worth the money he is asking.

I'm yet to check my bank (I'm too old fashioned to trust internet banking) but if the deposit is in that should be then yes it is sold. I haven't amended any ads yet as if the above isn't the case or the buyer doesn't turn up when they should then no, it won't be sold. To save myself and others hassle, as soon as it is I will make it clear on the ad.
