Mate, at no point have I said what you are doing is wrong have I?

I simply said it's a shame thats all, and it is.. For me it's a shame as I'd have kept it and replaced my mx5 track car with it hence it being a shame for me.. I haven't said its wrong and I even wished you luck.

I also think you are reading my mind about future plans for the car – nothing too exotic, either leave well alone, decent x/flow set-up or cheap blade engine package! We’ll see after I’ve picked it up.

The problem is that you got it to re-sell it, the above was a load of tosh!

Why not say so?

Are you a close fiend or family and are therefore aware of why I bought the car, what my plans were and the reason I'm selling - no thought not!

To all the bandwagon jumpers - I bought a car that was advertised, person selling was happy, I'm now selling the car. Whether or not it covers what it owes me remains to be seen.

Rant over and now back to

dont tell me anyone on here wouldnt be happy to have a kit for a few weeks and make a few quid on it. We nominally live in a free country with free markets.

I can agree with the seller. I got a Tiger Avon as a swap on my MGB and in a period of weeks went from "wow this is great, just need to do x and y and z to make perfect" to "this isn't actually that different from my Dutton and another car I've bought rather than built" so it went up for sale to raise cash for a future kit purchase.

Good luck with the sale.

The car looks worth at least £995!

Did the purple seats get ditched?
