I bought one of these, it does exactly what it says on the packet. I nibbled out the sides and took them to a local sheet metal chap to put neat long folds on the top edge (bought him a drink later)

Rather than complement me on my expert metal cutting he said "What did you cut these with - a tin opener!"

Don't expect a good finish

I bought the MMart yellow one from a stand at Newark show 5 years ago for £25 including 2 spare cutters. I used it to do my bodywork aluminium and my 16g floor and did some of a mates car with it as well. If you oil the cut line it will last ages, more important on ali which is more abrasive than the steel. I still have one cutting die left unused and can get replacements easily from MMart down the road and not by post.

yours, Pete.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
