I think you should point out to the girlfriend all work and no play makes jack a dull boy.
What can you possibly buy for the house that will corner that well ?
You only live once, I waved goodbye to mine many moons ago, worst thing I ever did.
So I bought it back.

I'm sorry to hear of your change of plans mate, I feel sure that If you could have got your Holy trinity (Self, Girlfriend & car) to the
Newark show, then you might be able to keep both.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.
