It’s just a water wetter, rather like a non foaming detergent that breaks the surface tension of the coolant.
Tbh I think its all rather bogus, the normal running coolant temp is set by the thermostat opening, so even fitting a radiator the size of a house
would make no difference to how hot the coolant is flowing round the engine as it would hardly be fed to the radiator.
Most lack of cooling issues are due to poor air flow through the radiator, which is the real limiting factor and not the heat transfer rate of the
water coolant.

Water wetter does work, I was sceptical but when racing landrovers the radiators quickly get bunged up with mud and you overheat.
Put some in and the gauge hardly moved.
Where it makes a big difference is stopping water boiling in the cylinder head which causes bubbles, pushes the coolant away from where its needed and
overflows.
If your cooling is marginal then it saves changing the rad. First thing is to get the inside as clean as possible, use rad cleaner or for those on a
budget caustic soda or drain cleaner and run the engine with that in it for 20 minutes, just make sure you get it all out!!!
