About £15,000 There are a couple of little Samurai type kits running round here with Willys badges on and they look cool.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I remember back in the early 80s the French licence built ones could be bought for a few pounds --- some only had delivery mileage. They were exactly the same as the Willys built one apart from the use of a French Solex carburetor and the engine electrics which were from the usual french sources.

The way to tell if a WW2 Jeep MB was built by Willys or Ford is to look at the crossmember behind and below the grill, Willys is tubular, Ford used an inverted U shape --- ie typical Ford penny pinching

Looking at carefully particularly the rear body I don't think it is a WW2 MB military jeep I think it is a CJ2 or CJ2a built around the last year of WW2

(CJ = Civilian Jeep)

Agreed it doesnt look right , ie a ww2 Jeep.

There too many gauges on the dash for a ww2 jeep.

The front looks right, maybe its a bitsa .

In fact are the rear lights a homegrown addition to what does look like a ww2 jeep, i think Ive changed my mind.

Its got a sidevalve engine, which correct me if Im wrong the cj versions certainly didnt have.

CJ2 and early CJ3 models were side valve the F head engines were from Korean war era onwards CJ3b and M38.

If it is a CJ2 "Agri-Jeep" or Cj2a it is very rare ---
