Following the Budget Announcement.....
The wife said that i should save 2.5% by buying her a large diamond ring before january!
I said ok, but i can save a fortune on Kit Car Parts if i buy them all by January!!!

Although to be fair diamond rings have low running costs whereas cars use fuel which will (yet again) get walloped by the VAT hike

I think they said fuel duty wouldn't rise. Of course, VAT is different to fuel duty.....

YUP.... Diamonds are a Girls best Friend... Especially when it comes to a Divorce
As for the budget, the country is in a state, and its us the Taxpayer who has to pay for the Gov't to bail the country out.
ALL the Gov'ts of this country regardless of political Leaning seem to make a mess of things one way or another when they get in power.
Sad but true.
