What do you mean - doesn;t quite seem right........ Tried the reserve option last time and Ebay took £16.00 off me for not selling my

A starting bid is not the same thing as a reserve price.

I'd argue with that - it still means that there is a minimum price you can bid for it. Surely no reserve means bidding starts at zero. If you
start the bidding at £xx, then by default a minimum has been set.
I think this argument's been had on here before

Thats exactly what I meant, as far as off line auctions are concerned, no reserve means bidding starts at£0.00 and if some body bids £0.01 and no
other bids then some one gets lucky for one penny!
