Cheap electricity monitor

Have heard a fair few of you (rightly) complaining about your delightful family members leaving lights/computer/etc. etc. on all the time.

My girlfriend just bought one of these:

I'm pretty sure it makes a difference as to how much stuff we have on. It's a gentle reminder to turn the TV off rather than standby etc. etc. Especially now it's getting dark earlier at this time of year.

Will be interesting to see if our bills get lower enough to cover the cost of the monitor!!!

Cheers,
James

What about a welder
don't get one if you are making your own chassis

i recommend switching to scottish power instead... they came and read my meter and then a week later sent me a cheque for £588!

And yes, you read that right, sent ME a cheque for almost six HUNDRED pounds!

Result! looks like i can afford to finish the striker yet!

And do they send you a cheque every week? That's a good thing!
