NOW ON EBAY: Locost Baseball Caps

Ok, here is the design:

http://www.andrewhills.com/locost/images/locost_cap.jpg

Who wants a cap?

£10 + P&P

All profits go to Chris W for maintaining the LB site (approximately £5 per cap).

I need to have these made to order, minimum of 50 caps per order.

If I get 20 requests and deposits this weekend, I'll get them produced next week.

You'd be surprised how quickly the sales people at B&Q try and assist you after ignoring you for the past 15 minutes when you try and start a chainsaw

NEW LOGO

A few people have mentioned that Caterham may take issue with the use of the inverted 7 (from the Super Seven, etc.).

Accordingly, I've created a new Locost Logo.

Are all interested parties happy with this, for the front of the cap?

Personaly I prefered the colour scheme of the first one, red, white and black. Can't really see Caterams getting up tight about an inverted seven, as far as I know none of there cars wear that as an emblam, plus there colour scheme is green and yellow if memory serves. Just my feeling of course. Ray

I would argue that it's not an upside down 7 but a stylised L in honour of Colin Chapman and as such does not infringe Caterham's copyright.

You are more likely to get bricked by some culturally deprived yob who thinks you are plod than taken to task by Caterham.

Oh yes and I'll have an original one.

Just four more orders and we have new hats for the summer.

Now we just need details as to how to make payment for the required deposit, etc.

OK guys - I'll get them produced with the original design, as per the image of the hat at the top of this thread.

Would you like the Locost Builders logo on the hats too?
(Either on the back - or opposite side to the chequers?)
It would probably add £2 to £5 to the cost of each hat - I'll need to check with the supplier.

Just 'putting it out there' at this point, will need to confirm with ChrisW if he is happy for the LB logo to be used.

This is the car I ran until last year:

I dont see anything wrong with the upside down 7, but I suppose Caterham might, but sod them lot.

Count me in for a hat.

Now, what about black beenie hats with the logo........

Beanies Hats

OK ... who wants beanie hats?

Send me a list of items (hats, shirts, fleeces, umbrellas, etc.) that you'd like with a Locost logo and I'll get some prices together over the next couple of weeks.

In the meantime, I'll get the baseball caps made.

If all of the interested parties cough up the cash for the hats, then I'll be more inclined to invest my time (FOC) designing other items and getting them produced.

I'm not intending to do any of this for a profit, it'll be my contribution to the Locost family - so I need to see some genuine interest before putting too much time or money into Locost merchandise.

My personal preference stays the same, the first hat looks good, and to add more to it would, I think, spoil it by being too clutered, just keep it as at first. Plus its what people have asked for. Comes down to the old addage "If it aint broke, don't fix it". IMHO Ray

Edit too add, if you want money from us then probably a good idea to say how and where.

On another note - spotted your tagline.

At some point in the next decade, I'd like to put a small block Ford V8 (302) in Locost.

I'm assuming someone must have done this before - where are they?
