I also thought it sounded dodgy , its just down the road from me so might have a look at it if the price stays low.

Isn't that the one with a sort of split screen thing?

My Daughter has taken over production of the damn fine Triton race seats and her contact email is emmatrs@live.co.uk.

I can't find any information about evolution roadsters. Does anyone know of their web site or some pictures of what the finished product would look like?

Evolution is a Mike Ryan design following on from the Formula 27 that he sold on and then got got sold on again etc.

The Evolution does indeed have that strange split screen affair and had adjustable wings on the front nose cone etc. I think the first ones used a mini front screen.

Fully adjustable push rod suspension was a development of the rocker arm suspension from the F27.

Its quite a big car IIRC and the room around the rover lump does confirm this.

I think there was even talk of an Evolution race series when they were first developed.

Not realy strange that the car is registered as a Rover. The Dutton on my Avatar, was registered in 1984 as a Ford. Doner was a three litre V6 capri.

Didn't DVLA have a type of amnesty thing until recently, which gave people an opportunity to correctly register/describe kit cars that were registered as the donor?
I seem to remember that there were consequences of some kind for failing to do so. (Requirement to SVA?)

If so then it becomes less of a bargain.

David

It's not far from me either, so I just need to get there before Paul.

doesn't look to far away from something like a Luego Viento. Maybe the bodywork from one could be made to fit ?
