Chaps, was wanting to find that mad vid clip of the chap on the hayabusa turbo, Hellfire posted a link to it a while back but the link is no longer valid.

It's on the Paris ring road. Allegedly the bloke is now dead. None of the daidegas.it links seem to work any more.

Amazon have the DVD for about £15 I think. I might be able to lay my hands on some 'backups' *cough* if anyone has lost their copy.

Chris

Hellfire - 8/11/04 at 10:53 PM

Chris - couldn't you just host the video clip?

JoelP - 8/11/04 at 11:25 PM

im guessing trouble with the copyright if its available for sale - hence people who have lost the copy they bought could ask chris for a new one!

Did anyone notice the Turbo'd Hayabusa run.

If you watch it closely, the speedo stops going up at 220 at 10000rpm but the revs keep building to just over 11000.

With my Grade 4 CSE, that make 242mph!

DVD is 4.7GB so even if I did host it will you be bothered to download that much? Cheaper and quicker to run off a copy and post it.

Chris - in zip'd and compressed .mpg the file is 9Mb.

Would you reconsider hosting... maybe

ChrisW - 9/11/04 at 12:18 PM

We're talking about a different file then! I mean a complete DVD of him driving irresponsibly and annoying the coppers.

But yes, if you have a 9MB file, u2u me and I'll give you an FTP account to use.

That guy (and Bike) is MeNtAl&^&*%*%*&.

He passes the GSRX 11 camera bike on his back tyre at over 170.
GSXR looked like it was going backwards.

Are you talking about the one where they begin by showing the fella in all black filling up on pump gas, then riding around on like a madman?

If so, there are 3 or 4 parts to that video featuring the same bike that I downloaded, they also show the bike on the dyno, it wound up pulling 384 HP to the rear wheel on 11PSI on pump gas.
I can send them all to you if you'd like.

I would like to see that!

Ok,
looks like they are 11MB, 13MB, 23MB, and 3MB respectively. My university filebox only allows less than 10MB single file uploads. I would cut the big ones in half if I knew how to edit video, but I don't. Anyhow, I uploaded the 3MB one, it's still pretty good. Notice how he can go from 140-180 MPH about as fast if not faster than he can go from 60-120 because it has too much power to keep the front end down:

Our illustrius webmaster has provided us space for the frightening ghostrider video - or one of them at least!

As soon as I've uploaded it, the link is here:
