I'm using a SIP150 Mig ( workshop editon).

Only proplem with it is the "Lance was crap" and no gas solenoid.

I ended up modifing it to a standard Euro Lance (and adding a soldenoid )and it far better. Total Cost £105 Quid !

So top tip - insure welder has a Euro Lance on it and not some cheapo job. Also check that it has a gas solenoid rather than a naff valve in the trigger.( this will stop leaks).

Scot's do it better in Kilts.

the leaky trigger can be stopped by turning the valve on the bottle off every time you stop using it. mine goes empty sharpish if left on at the valve.

Beware! Bourettes is binfectious.
