Interweb slow or my PC ill?(26 June)

My PC was fine this afternoon but this evening it's being outpaced by a dead slug. Is my PC ill or is the web grindingly slow...?

Mine's fine, tried a trace or used Pingplotter or owt to check your connection ?

Seems to have recovered over the past 5 mins or so.
Yes, I ran a few of those speed testers and it was either appalingly slow and I had to quit the test or very variable.

Either a problem with the exchange or you got caught in a MJ blip (lots of the web reported going slow due to people searching for news on his health/death/jokes - google thought they were under a DOS attack due to the volume ramp up).

Yes, I did wonder if it was that.
All back to normal now, >5.5Mbaud.
