chrome problem
mookaloid - 5/6/10 at 12:10 AM

I have over the past few days noticed that chrome doesn't seem to like displaying some pictures on LCB. the picture seems to be loading an then it disappears again leaving the icon

showing instead. If I right click the icon and select show image in new tab it displays perfectly in the new tab.

I have checked the setting to show all images and cannot find any other settings which could affect this and it only seems to do it on some images only on chrome not IE and not just on one computer - I do have chrome synched on several computers.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Mooky

Firefox is quite good

Glad it's not just me then

firefox seems no better than ie just now - just as slow where Chrome is much faster

Update - it seems to uploaded attachments which are not showing. Web linked images seem to be fine.

Perhaps the boss might have some ideas on this?

Any thoughts Chris?

Cheers

Anyone got a solution yet? I just changed to Chrome from F/F and its much quicker and indeed better apart from this one fault.

Livable with but annoying

Thousands of people have reported the same problem with Chrome, and I also see it. Some have had success by disabling the Adblock plugin, but I have no plugins installed at all and still see it.

Chrome definitely loads up more quickly than Firefox, but I certainly wouldn't say it's "better" overall.

Living out in the stix we have slowband and chrome works better than others with a 500k connection for me. One hell of a lot better than FF which would not even download googlemail!
