Video card options

I have a G Force 2 with TV out. The problem is I can not get the TV out to work. I have unplugged the computer monitor and connected the TV out to the TV, switched the TV to AV and started the computer, nothing happens.
When I do the same using my other computer with a g Force 4 card, no problem.

What can I try now?

Don't know anything about the card in question, but if the ouput is via a coaxial lead to the TV, you'll need to manually tune in your TV as if it was just a normal channel - AV is for Scart input only.

Much mistaken indeed The video card out will be composite video, this will normally be the yellow connector on those video leads with three wires (Red and White for the stereo sound).

You first need to check the video drivers to ensure they are happy to accept that there might be a display other than the monitor. Try setting the screen resolution to 640x480 as a TV can't really go much higher than that (800x600 is also likely to work but is pushing it a little) and if the graphics card drivers aren't set up to pan and scan then they will try and dump the whole image out which your TV can't swallow.

If you have a games console, difital camera, camcorder or anything that will output composite video they plug that nto the same tv input you are trying to use to check you have the correct input selected.

If the wire isn't a yellow plug on thin wire but is a thick black plug with 4 pins and a plastic key inside that's S-Video and the same investigation applies.
