The length of the wiper arms aren't a problem cos you can cut them down... but the blades are a no-no.. I know this cos I bought some 10" then some 9" and finally settled one 8" blades

I have a 3 wiper motor/wheelbox setup for my MK.

Will the midget setup be too long? If I can't use these blades there's no point in buying arms AND blades.
Can I change to a 2 wiper system with the MG motor et al?

Yup. 8" wiper blades are the way forward. Tex auto will sell them direct....
