Uncle Ron was not giving a specific figure!! Shocking!

I too would like to know, but I would go out on a limb and say between 35 and 40 inches. Mine will be close to 40 unless I can get the nose to mount a bit further back (rad too big). My scuttle is mounted a little further back than most book frames too.

Short answer: best to measure your own yourself but allow for about 42". It is extremely unlikely you will need more than that.

I was thinking of making mine out of cardboard so i can work out the size of sheet that i will need.

Due to lack of time i was thinking of buying one, but i have a ST Scuttle, but the nose cone is of unknown make, as brought at a kit car show many moons ago as a seconds. So can not say if a ST bonnet would fit.

Hi

You should be able to get it out of a 2x1 meter sheet. It all depend on how far back you have mounted the scuttle. But i have yet to fail to get a bonnet out of a 2x1 sheet.
