Anyone know where i can buy some metal strips that the cycle wings bolt onto?and any idea of what size/grade.
The cycle wings are from carbon modz.

My set-up uses 5mm steel bar... It's not exactly light but it's not going to break. I would have thought B+Q would be able to supply it (if you need it quick and don't mind the wallet abuse).....

I got some 5mm bar from b&q the other day to make mine. cost about £3 for 1m

I bought csr style cycle wings from carbon mods about a year ago, not sure what grade they are but they can match them to your wheel/tyre size so you can get a nice tight fit around tyre

whats the best method of attaching the cycle wings to the wing brackets?
Dont fancy drilling holes in my nice shiny carbon!

You can use adhesive like Sikaflex, form a piece of aluminium sheet to the profile of the inside of your wing, securely bolt it to the stays and then apply glue to your wing along its length to stick to the ali

Sikaflex didn't work with my Carbonmods wings as I found out at (around) the legal limit on the A14. Survived with just a scratch. They are now bolted on with some fairing bolts. Front wing bolts from a late 3 series BMW look neat, they may do the job nicely
