I want to make cycle wing buck to take a grp mould from. I'll be painting the final parts so a super glossy finish isn't necessary. If I stretch cling film over the buck and lay the GRP up on that, will it attack the cling film?
Dunno mate. I used to make a lot of GRP moulds and I always used Tinfoil.
i don't think it is... parcel tape isn't though, but either way you'll end up with a rough finish
surely you could do a little experiment?
Get a bit of cling film, a couple drop of polyester resin, leave for a while and see what it does?

I have used many types of clingfilm... waitrose and summerfield and neither appear to be bothered by Polyester resin... I have not tried Epoxy!
I put cling flim against my bodywork and made up the gap in my wings against it, pulls off easily and leaves a silk smooth finish
