Anyone got any top tips on what to use as a cover over the cat on the exhaust, to keep mr IVA man happy?

I'd like it to be fixed to the cat itself if possible, instead of the side panel

i have used a cut down one of this to cover it like most caterhams do

Ah. Cheers. Will i need one of those over the silencer too? It's not bare metal, it's sort of carbon effect (off a bike).

only need it if you have sharp edges the end pipe should be fine
