I'm trying to sort out the bonnet on my car and I need a sheet of SS mirror finish in 0.8mm/20gauge big enough to do it.
My local place want's a lot of dosh for it as it needs polishing to order. GBS want £100 + delivery for a 8x4 sheet of it.
Has anybody got any suggestions where I may be able to get hold of some on the cheap? Polished Ali was suggested to me but I think it'll look odd
as the body is all 400 series stainless mirror so it wont quite match.
Just to clarify the car is currently made from 400 S/S which is the lower quality I believe and is magnetic, it's a sheet of this I need.

I just chopped up a 6 foot by 1 foot 1.5 brushed piece the other day because I needed some small strips, lol I used to have loads on the shelf, I
should stop making everything out of it if it's so expensive!
is this big enough? if not they may do custom sizes:
