does anyone know where the plastic covers can be bought which cover the steering arm from where it goes through the scuttle. think they mount to the ally pannel under the bonnet!

are you talking about electrical glands ? or steering rack gaiters

No sorry.where the steering arm comes through the scuttle pannel and angles down Into engine bay. It's a small plastic cover which covers the arm and sits on the front ally pannel. I have seen these on westfields but can't find them on website!

Do you mean the cowl just infront (or is it behind) the steering wheel?

I'm guessing he means the part behind the scuttle one the engine bay normally above tue pedal box. I have a alloy box covering it as well as the tops of my pedals. I think the road runner has a plastic cover not 100percent sure.

I have seen these made in aluminium, if im on the right track its a wedge shaped piece that fits under the bonnet and covers the steering column where it comes thru the scuttle and drops down into the footwell before exiting again thru the bulkhead.

I was planning on making mine but would be interested if theres something off the shelf.

That's exactly what I mean! The wedge shaped cowel that sits above pedal box. I can't find them anywhere

I've been looking at these from Caterham, they are for a different purpose but may do the job, dont know thw size, so i suppose its take a punt and hope for the best
