Hi all
I am going to attempt to flat floor my car ready for track day to see if it makes any difference to 70mph+ acceleration.
I have concerns that i will need to get behind the panels. is there any way of clipping, sticking or latching panels on.
i dont really want to be making up loads od brackets or drill lots of holes in the chassis incase im not happy with it and take it off.
Any thoughts or ideas?
what about using thin magnets?
For trialling something like this on a track day, and subjected to the force of the air and perhaps kerbs, I would only ever rely on nuts and bolts. Anything else is asking for trouble. IMHO
the engine tray and diffuser on an Elise is held on with 4 10 mm bolts and a number of 8 mm bolts there are a number of fast removal kits that use
both the 4 10 mm bolts and eater pins and R clips or dutz faseners.

Was thinking the same thing. My idea (not yet put into practice) was to make brackets that go around the chassis rails, which are then Dzus fastened to the floor.
