Bodging some holes up to smooth the surface afore I wrap it up, does the wrap stick to bodge?

Also can I wrap the wind deflector on both sides in one go so I get a nice smooth edge facing me??

with a little heat (not too much or it really distorts) it will go around anything.

It will come off

How can I seal it?

Need to paint bodge, then it will stick ok
