Just fitted my bonnet and it was a right pain in the everywhere. Now it's fitted to the car and the shut lines could be better. But now I want
to work on the engine and the bonnets in the way. I can't really continue to store it in the shed without constantly bubble wrapping it. Theres
no real room in the garage to put the bonnet anywhere other than up.
Do any of you guys have any locost novel bonnet storage solutions?
Mine sit's vertically, arse end sitting on the wrapped exhaust, top end propped against the wall!
You could put it in the car- but take care the sharp edges don't damage the seats/fabrics.
You become less bothered about scratching it after a while!
I just lean my bonnet up when its not in use. Its got U trim on either end to stop it getting damaged anyway so its not a problem.
thats what the kitchen is for, car bits and motorbikes
I have new Landy panels in the living room to keep them safe

Al my bodywork is in the garage roof trusses, but thats during build. If its likely to be off for more than a few days I will likely put mine back up
there.
If its less than that then the kitchen is always a good option!
This is one of the main reasons I went for a one piece bonnet/nose I was sick of it being in the way during the build. Now it just hinges up out of the way.
I put mine in the car, front of the bonnet down on the tunnel and the sides of the bonnet resting on the seats
jacko
Mine goes up in the rafters of the garage when i need it out of the way.
Mine tends to sit on the grass while I'm working.
If it's fibreglass and fairly new, make sure that you store it flat so that it doesn't get twisted - otherwise it'll end up warped.

+1 if its off for a while
or, (dont tell the wife!) i stick it upstairs in the spare room. infact the nose cone is up there now!!
Preferably not outside on the grass standing up at the IVA test centre allowing it to fly like a kite in the wind onto the tarmac face side down
Guess how I worked out this was not a good idea!!
