Hi there, now I have extended my jago body I have feathered the join on the exterior side and glassed the repair using 450g fibreglass strand matting
and resin I managed to get 3 layers of matting on, so now I need to fill the repair to help blend it in however the repair is almost flush, do I need
to use anything special as its fibreglass or is normal body filler suitable?
Cheers Greg
Normal filler will be just fine. Key it up before you apply your filler and away you go!
you could use P38 then filler the P38 is a fiberglass mix mix fill sand down then skim of filler

the fibral stuff is brilliant, very fine strands and easy to use. nowhere near as coarse as bridging fillers.
On the final layer, a decent polyester filler would be fine, and a little acrylic stopper for the imperfections after that.
