I'm nearing the point in my build when I need to start thinking about buying some fibreglass body work.
I like the Caterham look (ali bonnet, sides and rear panel) and so I will probably only need a nose cone, scuttle, front and rear mudguards
package.
I'm only using 13x6 wheels (185 tyres) on a Mk1 Escort live axle, so I don't need massive rear arches and I would prefer not to have my
xflow twin choke weber air filter sticking up thru the bonnet (if possible).
Can anyone suggest/recommend a manufacturer that make a decent set of bodywork that meets these criteria?
Cheers
Gary
Luego locost stuff is what I have - looks fantastic but seems to have gone up a good bit in price since I got mine. Stuart Taylor also do well
proportioned stuff but may require some fettling.

not forgetting MK of course!

I bought my fibreglass through Triton, but I believe that GTS now sell stuff from the same maker (Darren - can you confirm?).
Anyway - I was VERY impressed with the quality - solid, rigid, and well-finished.

I'm using MK fibre glass on a locost.
The MK rear arches seem to fit the live axle very well (locost arches as opposed to indy arches I suspect). 175 tyres arnt dwarfed, but theres still
room for say 195 tyres. The same goes for the front cycle wings.
One problem is the indy nose cone doesn't follow chassis tubes J1/J2 too well. At the bonnet end the in the right place, but at the front of the
chassis the nose cone is half off the tubes.
Not too distasterous, but you can't just rivnut through the fibreglass inot the chassis rails.
The scuttle seems to fit quite well. Enough flex in it to allow for slight miss alignment (probbaly more my chassis than the scuttle).
Over all good and solid, but not shatteringly ridgid.
