Different body style

I have spent about an hour searching and reading up on alteratives for locost chassis.
I want to build a car with a Golf engine + Gbox mounted behind the driver, but first need to find a body that will allow this configuration. Tapering nose, wheels inside the body, no doors and a high and big back side.

Any body seen someting like this?

I'm pretty sure Robin Hood, tried a seven style car with the engine+box behind the driver, base on a metro engine+box if i remember correctly.

don't know the model or anything sorry.

I don't want a car that looks like a locost. I am buiding one so once it is completed the next car must be someting different.

Someting like a small Lamborgini. But with the wind in my face and the South African sun.

There are pictures of the rear engined RH towards the bottom of this link

There might be one for sale....

You ought to look in the Mid Engine section, then, where at least a couple of guys are building their own fiberglass bodies. Doing nice work, too, but it makes the builds go slowly.

If you wanna wait a few months I'll have a chassis design (well pictures at least) that will suit your needs.

If not have a word with steve grabbers (sgrabbers)

I still have 6 months or so to go on my current project. I am just putting some feelers out. I need to find a suitable body before I start to design my chassis. I want the chassis modular. Front end, cock pit and enginebay come rear end.

Keep me in mind when the reality starts.
