what are peoples experience of fitting and driving with 17" wheels i have read that it can affect the handling in a bad way
the reason i ask is that i can get some brand new 17s for £125

I would have said buy them and resell them and earn enough to get ones you would choose

there ok for the road,i used some on my first MK
for the track you will want 15's or smaller

i got some , think they look sportier, but havent really had a proper drive yet to know how they handle. as colibriman says, id take em, and re-sell them if you cant find a use for them!
im sure youd get more than that off ebay!

i paid £250 for mine (pretty scuffed) with new tyres.

That is Midland Wheel Supplies who appear at all the shows. Got some off ebay from them last year and they were a bargain.
