can i use a bike filler cap rather than buy a new aero style one?

you can do as long as you plan to mount it straight into the tank, as afaik, they don't have any form of funnel on the back, short of cutting the top of the tank out.

it was something i looked at til i resigned it to the ideas bin, and bought a proper one.

My car had a bike filler originally, they don't really fit right even if you make a funnel to go on the back. have binned that now, and i'm going to fit a proper one.
